The PHTA Midwest Chapter annually recognizes and rewards Midwest pool and spa companies who represent our industry, through their projects and services, with the highest level of professionalism.
Videos! We know that some projects just show better in a video than in pictures, so this year we've added an option to include up to a 30 second video showing your project! Although not required, adding a video to your submission might help show our judges more about your project. Get your video camera, GoPros and drones out and start making movies!
Our Gold Standard of Excellence Awards go Regional! The PHTA Midwest Chapter is proud to be able to offer entry into our contests for any PHTA member who is a part of these Midwest chapters:

Gold Standard of Excellence
Design and Construction Awards
Our Gold Standard of Excellence design and construction awards were developed with an interest in showcasing beautiful and creative projects, built by PHTA member companies that adhere to accepted construction methods and PHTA standards. Projects must have a certain level of aesthetic appeal, but our focus is not only on beauty, but also on integrity and adherence to standards that can often be overlooked by non PHTA members. The goal of this award is to promote well built, attractive, PHTA member projects, whether they are $5,000 projects or $500,000 projects.

Impartial Judges! Our panels of Gold Standard of Excellence judges are all PHTA Professionals who judge the contest online. All of the entries are anonymous when submitted, so our judges won't know who the company was that entered a project. In addition, entries are assigned to judges who are not part of your local chapter, so there's never a concern that your project may be subject to a local competitors influence.
Judges Needed! As our awards contests are growing, we are always looking for more judges! If you're an APSP builder, who understands what it means to build to standards, knows about best building practices, and is willing to share their expertise with other PHTA members through judging our contests, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page!
Superior Service
Our Award Contest For Your Superior Service Staff
Beautiful projects won't stay beautiful if they aren't professionally cared for by well trained, certified, PHTA technicians. Our Superior Service Award was developed to recognize those PHTA member companies who strive for, and achieve, excellence in all levels of customer service. Whether serving clients in a retail store, or providing onsite service and repairs, the service industry of the PTHA is the heartbeat that keeps our pools, spas, outdoor living and other recreational needs in pristine condition. The goal of this award is to promote PHTA member companies who excel at providing exceptional customer service.

Professional Retail Store Award

Our Retail Excellence award was developed with an interest in showcasing the most professional brick and mortar retail stores operated by PHTA member companies.
In today's world of internet shopping, operating any brick and mortar retail store has become increasingly challenging. Many of our PHTA members have found their niche through applying truly professional standards to their retail operations.
This contest not only promotes PHTA retailers who run incredible retail stores, but through their efforts, all of our members can learn new ideas to help them in their brick and mortar efforts!
